The WordPress team behind your site
Website HQ is a boutique WordPress agency with home base in Jacksonville, Florida. We handle hosting, security, maintenance, design, and SEO for 200+ small businesses across the United States and Canada, all under one relationship, so you can run your business instead of your website.
That first paragraph is the whole company. The rest of this page is who we are and why we work the way we do.
“It is such a relief to know my website maintenance and security is covered.”
“Now when something needs updating, I just send them a message and it's done.”
“...I literally got three days of my month back.”
“...Jeane's team migrated and fixed everything in a day plus set up real security.”
“She saves me countless hours, allowing me to focus on what I do best!”
101Our Mission Since Week One
Make the Internet safer, one WordPress website at a time
Jeane Sumner has been designing and building websites for 20+ years. By 2020 the same story kept arriving. A site got built, the builder moved on, the hosting company wouldn’t touch the site itself, and the owner was left holding a login they never wanted and a problem nobody would own.
Here’s the version of that story we saw last summer. An author came to us after his site went down. His publisher had built it, and he had never held the logins. The backup we were handed turned out to be infected too: hidden admin accounts, three web shells, and an attack log that traced the break-in back nine months. We unpacked all 23,971 files in isolation before anything touched a live server.
Nobody sells you a plan for that day.
So we built one: daily backups, daily updates, monitoring that runs whether or not you’re looking, and real people who help. We called it the Site Care Club and made it the center of the business.
