Website HQ is a boutique WordPress agency in Jacksonville, Florida. Since 2020 we have handled hosting, security, maintenance, design, and SEO for service businesses across the US and Canada, all under one relationship, so owners can run their business instead of their website.

Why we exist
Website HQ came out of Sumner Digital, the marketing agency Jeane (sounds like Genie) Sumner has run since 2011, on work going back to 2002. By 2020 the same story kept arriving. A site got built, the builder moved on, the hosting company would not touch the site itself, and the owner was left holding a login they never wanted and a problem nobody would own.
Here is the version of that story we saw last summer. An author came to us after his site went down. His publisher had built it and he had never held the logins. The backup we were handed to restore from turned out to be infected too: hidden admin accounts, three web shells, and an attack log that traced the break-in back nine months. We unpacked all 23,971 files in isolation before anything touched a live server.
Nobody sells you a plan for that day. So we built one. Daily backups, daily updates, monitoring that runs whether or not you are looking, and a person who picks up. We called it the Site Care Club and made it the center of the business.
Our mission has not changed since the first week: make the Internet safer, one WordPress website at a time.
