Why we do the call
We could put a checkout button next to each plan and let the internet decide. Most maintenance companies do. We don't, because the right plan depends on things a checkout page cannot ask: how your site is set up today, what has actually been breaking, where your email lives (more on that in a second), and what you want the site doing in the next six months.
So we meet first. Thirty minutes. You leave with a clear next step, whether that's a plan we start that week, a referral to someone better suited, or a “let's wait until X is settled.” All three are fine outcomes.
What we'll cover
A loose agenda. Skipping any of it is fine.
- The story so far. What you have, who built it, what has been working and what has not. Short version, just enough to get us oriented.
- Your site and email setup. We look at your hosting and your domain, and we ask where your email runs. We don't host email (we recommend Google Workspace), and we want to know up front so a website issue never takes your inbox down with it.
- What's been frustrating. The thing you wish you could stop thinking about. We get specific. Usually the most useful five minutes of the call.
- Which plan fits. Covered, Managed, or Mission-Critical. We do this part out loud so you know exactly why we are pointing you at one tier and not another.
- What happens next. If we are a fit, we tell you what onboarding looks like and what we need from you. If we are not, we say so and point you to who is.
Who you will meet
Jeane (sounds like Genie) Sumner, owner of Website HQ. She runs every discovery call herself. If you sign up, she stays on as your point of contact. No bait-and-switch to a junior account manager.
