Quick fixes

Project work

Your questions, answered

What’s the difference between the Site Care Club and just having a hosting company?

Hosting companies provide a server. That's it. They don't monitor your specific site, update your plugins, fix broken things, or respond when your site goes down. The Site Care Club is active, hands-on management, not just infrastructure.

How many sites does my plan cover?

One. Each plan covers a single site, subdomain, or WordPress install. If you have three sites you want us looking after, you will need three plans. You can mix and match tiers (a Covered plan for the brochure site, a Managed plan for the one that books leads), and we will keep them all on one invoice.

Do you host my email?

No. We host your website, not your inbox. If your email currently runs on your web hosting account, we will help you move it to Google Workspace (our preferred), Microsoft 365, or another email provider as part of onboarding. We keep email off the website host on purpose: it saves bandwidth, protects your domain's sending reputation, and means a website outage never takes your inbox down with it.

Do you work on WordPress Multisite networks?

Yes. Each site in the network needs its own plan. Multisite is not built to take care of just one site in isolation, so we treat each subsite as its own care plan, just as we would if they lived on separate domains.

Do I have to move my hosting to Website HQ?

Not necessarily. We prefer to host your site because it allows us to work faster and catch issues before they become problems. That said, we can work with your existing host depending on your plan. If you're on budget shared hosting (GoDaddy, Bluehost, etc.), we'll have an honest conversation about whether it's holding your site back.

What counts as a quick fix versus a project?

A quick fix is a small change or question, around 15 to 30 minutes, like a text edit or a swapped image. A project is bigger scoped work, like a new page or a site-wide design change, and it draws from your monthly hours or a Flex Pack. Not sure which one your request is? Ask. We'll tell you before we start.

What is actually included in unlimited quick fixes?

Most of the small things you would want to change yourself but do not have time for. Yes to text and image swaps, plugin settings, CSS tweaks, blog post formatting, menu changes, coupon updates, and the “is this plugin trying to tell me something?” question. No to custom code, theme rewrites, designing or writing a new page from scratch, or work that lives outside WordPress. If a request is bigger than a quick fix, we will tell you before we start and pull it from your project hours (Managed and Mission-Critical) or a Flex Pack.

What is the process after I sign up?

Pick your plan and check out. You will get a welcome email right away with a secure way to send us your hosting and WordPress logins. From there we run the white-glove migration, get your site onto our managed hosting, and turn on the full care stack: security, 24/7 monitoring, daily backups, and the rest. We keep you in the loop the whole way. On Managed and Mission-Critical, we book your first strategy call once the site is settled in.

Will you only fix things, or will you help me improve my site?

Both. Covered keeps your site safe and running. Managed and Mission-Critical add monthly project hours and a strategy call (quarterly for Managed, monthly for Mission-Critical) where we look at what is working, what is not, and what to ship next. We are not just here when something breaks. We are paying attention while it is running smoothly too.

Does the Site Care Club include SEO?

SEO is a separate add-on service — and for good reason. Real SEO isn't a checkbox on a maintenance plan. We start with an SEO Audit that gives you a clear growth roadmap: what's working, what's holding you back, and exactly what needs to happen to improve your visibility in both traditional search and AI-powered tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. From there, you can choose to add ongoing SEO management to your Site Care Club. It's the difference between guessing and having a strategy.

Do you build and manage online stores?

Not inside a Club plan. Stores have different needs, so we handle WooCommerce and eCommerce work on a site-by-site basis. Tell us what you have and we'll scope it.

What are the hosting limits: traffic, storage, bandwidth?

Every plan runs on the same managed WordPress hosting, so the resources are the same at all three levels. They comfortably cover a typical small-business or coaching site, and we monitor your usage and give you a heads-up long before you outgrow it. No surprise overage bills. Comparing us to a host like WP Engine or Hostinger, and want a specific number? Just ask, and we'll tell you exactly what your site gets.

Can I pay yearly?
